I thought we had until midnight May 28 to finish up. I had 3 lessons to go and a video to upload when all the lessons disappeared probably around shortly after 9. What gives?

I am getting more confused as the weeks pass, but I also pick up information as the weeks pass also. My question is that I tried too post to the 23 kansas google groups site in the comment from Janelle Mercer but could not as I was not a user of something to that effect. What is the best way to ask questions?

Hi, I found a nice picture on Flicker after I opened an account. But I am not sure about how to get that picture to my blog in Wordpress. Do I just save the target to my pictures? When I go to my blog and try to attach a picture, it takes me to ‘My Pictures’. I think I am making this harder than it is. Thanks for help!

There are a few ways to request. The easiest is to just go to Facebook and search for a specific name. If the people you are thinking of “friending” have a link to their Facebook on their blog you should be able to click on the link and then add them as a friend from there. There should be an “Add as Friend” Button at the middle top of the page next to their name on Facebook.

You can also become a fan of 23ThingsKansas on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/23thingskansas and look at the other fans there. You don’t have to add a total stranger. You might want to look for a name you know or someone who is in the same area of the state as you.

Hi, I am trying to get someone to be my friend on Facebook. should I just go to their blog and invite them? I had one person request me as a friend, but I could not find her. I am not sure of the procedure here. Thanks!

@Karen don’t worry about the online interface. you have to have your google account tied to your registered email in order to comment; it can get really confusing.
don’t try to use the online interface to comment

I have been to the 23Things Kansas Discussion page, it tells I can not post because I am not a member. I have signed in and I receive the digest posts from the list, but why can’t I post on it.

I’m using blogger and in the Settings-Comments tab there is an option to show profile images on comments. I’ve set my blog so anyone can leave a comment, but if I say yes on the showing the profile image will this hinder people from leaving comments if they don’t have a blogger account? I’m asking because a friend of mine checked out the blog and tried to leave a comment, but couldn’t because of a profile issue. I’m trying to figure out what I need to do to fix this problem.

@lissa: We will make sure everyone is paired with a mentor – but be patient, there are over 550 participants and only 15 of us! :)

@marian: You probably want to make a personal blog for exploring 23 Things so that you have a dedicated space for your adventures… you can always have a separate blog for your high school.

@karen: If the person who owns the blog doesn’t want anonymous comments, you will have to log in using some identity. Your Blogger profile could be your Google account, or another identity that you have thru another site like Facebook or OpenID or others.
