The following is a general list of all the websites or tools that may be used during each week’s lesson during the 23 Things programs; there may be a few additions through the course of the program, but these are the main sites that will need to be accessed. For those of you with filters in place blocking these tools, work with your local administration to see if these tools might be unblocked for a period of time after school (if you’re in a school) so you can work on that week’s lesson. If you still can’t get access to these tools or to the software you’re being asked to use in that week’s lesson, try your local public library. If all else fails, contact that week’s mentor (lesson author) for creative ideas on completing that week’s lesson.

Should we try to log in? I know Facebook is blocked, but I do get the page asking me to sign up. I wonder if the pages after the sign up pages are blocked? I’ve tried several sites and they all let me in to the home create page, but I’m sure they are suppose to be blocked. Thanks!
Rita-All you can do is try the different sites on the list, and see which ones are blocked by your school. Then you can try to ask the tech people and administration to unblock them at a certain time for you to use them. I don’t know if that will work, but it’s worth the try. We released the list in hopes that it would help some schools get at least some of the sites unblocked for you.
On week 7 the identi.ca link doesn’t work. I get an error message.
I love twitter, and I tweet probably way more than I should. I’ve followed you on twitter. I use twitter more than ever nowadays and my blog feels abandoned!
